Questions, answered.
How many panels do I need?
Each panel is 24″ wide and 9 ft tall. Divide your wall width in inches by 24 and round up — a 12 ft (144″) wall takes six. The builder above counts them for you.
How are slat panels installed?
Either with construction adhesive straight onto a clean, flat wall, or nailed onto wood battens with insulation between them for extra sound absorption. Installers in our directory can do it for you.
Do slat panels soundproof a room?
They reduce echo and reverberation, so sound inside the room is clearer and calmer. They don't stop sound passing through a wall — that needs in-wall materials.
Can the panels be cut?
Yes. They're cut to length or around outlets with a fine-tooth saw, from the back to avoid chipping the face; an outlet extender brings the box flush with the panel.
Is the price final?
No — it's an estimate. The installer confirms the final price after reviewing your wall, ceiling height and any electrical work.
